200-Hour Immersive Teacher Training Course (Residential)

200 HR Immersive Teacher Training Course (Residential)

When: 28th June - 19th July 2026

Where: Reiltín Retreat Centre, Dingle

This is a training that focuses on making you a yogi first and a teacher second. It is an immersion that bridges ancient yogic wisdom with a grounded, modern understanding of body, mind, and spirit.

This is a journey of discovery.
Over 22 days, we will dive deep into the teachings, explore the subtle and the practical, we will dance and laugh, celebrate and cry. We will hold each other through the challenges, and relearn what it means to be connected— to ourselves, to each other, and to our purpose. Our home for this journey is the warm and wild sanctuary of Reiltín Retreat Centre, on Ireland’s West Coast, just outside Dingle, which creates the perfect backdrop for true immersion.

Here, students can fully embody the practice under the guidance of Senior Yoga Teacher Jeanie Jyanti, while resting into the rhythms of the land. Derbhla, a Dingle native and host of the retreat centre, nourishes trainees with thoughtfully curated meals made from local produce, as well as ensuring the space is comfortable, joyous and supportive.

The training is anchored in the four pillars of the Alchemy School of Yoga which are Yoga, Education, Nourishment, and Community. Within this homely, supportive space, trainees are encouraged to grow, transform, and flourish as both practitioners and future teachers, guided by Jeanie Jyanti’s unique, heart-led approach.

Expect: laughter, peace, learning, connection, stillness, breakthroughs, and more than a little magic!

The Setting

Reiltin Yoga Centre is set amongst the rolling hills, just outside the main Dingle town. Over the course of 22 days, it will play a unique role in allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the teachings, grow, develop and ultimately, transform. We will deep dive into the ancient and wise Yogic Teachings, but we will also connect to the land, go on hikes, enjoy sea swims, learn about the local history, and truly connect to what it means to be alive.

The centre is lovingly owned and created by Derbhla. It’s her family home, now home to the students who come here to immerse in Yoga. It is simple, cosy and full of love. The home is surrounds by green fields, mountains and spectacular sea views from the fully equipped Yoga shala.

The Accomodation

Rooting yourself at the Reiltin Yoga Centre for the duration of this course is a key element in engaging in this immersive experience. Your accommodation is included in the course fee from the 28th June – 19th July.

Over the course of this month, your fellow yogis will become your community and your future pillars of support when you embark on your yoga teaching journey. We will be living like a family, which comes with massive benefits but also some challenges. There are lots of things in place to ensure everyone gets quiet time, their own space and things run as smoothly as possible.

All rooms are shared, most have bunkbeds, and all have shared bathrooms. It’s back to basics with the accommodation but this is something most students say they love about the space. The centre is rustic, quirky and homely with a lot of heart and peaceful surroundings. It may not be dripping in luxury but it is clean, comfortable and steeped in love.

Your Host

Derbhla (she/her) is a native of Dingle and is the part of 5 Generations to live in this home. 8 years ago she trusted her gut and decided to turn the family home into a home for all. A space for Yoga, connection, love, great food, lots of fun and deep care.

As a dedicated and highly qualified Yoga Teacher herself she has a deep understanding of the process we will bring you on.

Food is her passion (and she would say her hyper-fixation!) and guests will be delighted with her culinary creations, dishes oozing with love and her determination that no one will ever go hungry!

If the kitchen is the hearth of the home, then Derbhla is the heart of the kitchen.

We are so grateful that she took the leap to turn this space into Réiltín Retreat Centre so we can let the space support us as we go on this journey.

Having your meals and accommodation tended to by our team means you can fully immerse yourself in the program. Inspired by the Wild Atlantic Way, the meals provided throughout this course will be Sattvic which means (where possible) it will be local, in season, fresh, and cooked onsite with absolute love by loving people.

This ensures the food is packed with Prana – life giving energy, that the environment is protected and that you are fuelling your body in balance with your surroundings.

Meals will be created lovingly by Derbhla and our team and each day meals will be carefully prepared to suit the environment, the weather and nourish your soul.

We promise you, you won’t go hungry! Derbhla has decades of experience hosting and cooking for groups, as well as being a dedicated Yoga Teacher herself. She has completed many of these programs herself and so she knows what it is like to be the student. This inspires the menu and allows her to be in tune with your needs and the needs of the group.

FAQs

  • A keen interest in Yoga is a must. This is not dependent or reliant on your ability to perform certain Asana (postures). Your open heart and mind is all that is required. A deep desire to study this ancient practice and commit to the program is needed. Know that this won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it. If you’re unsure in any was please reach out for an informal chat and we can support your decision.

  • The primary style we will be learning is Hatha - which is the basis of all Yoga that we practice today. It is a strong but accessible practice blending postures, pranayama, mantra, mudra and meditation into one practice. It’s a fantastic basis, from which to then specialise if you wish.

We will also explore, in some detail. Restorative, Yin, Ashtanga and Nidra. But you will only be qualified to teach General Yoga classes, unless you do further training.

  • Yes! Upon successful completion of this course, meeting all the course requirements, you will be qualified to teach a General Yoga Class.

  • This depends. It can be helpful to register with a body, get support and guidance and ensure you are following the most up to date practices. It can also be useful to get insurance via this accrediting body. However, to register with them upon completion of the course is entirely optional. This will be discussed in further detail during the course.

Please note that this course holds itself to higher standards than the Yoga Alliance Professionals set.

  • This is a full immersion so intend for your days to be full but enjoyable. The schedule allows for lots of practice of yoga (which in itself aids the process of learning) as well as free time for swims, hikes, rest, chats and more. The days are full but your food and accommodation are all tended to, allowing you to fully focus on the course.

We have allowed time to flow with the energy of the group and adapt where needed.

  • In designing this course, we also created room for flexibility and responsiveness. This means we can adapt our day to the needs of our students and our small community. We will use the natural resources around us, the weather and the group sentiment to create opportunities for excursions, hikes, sea swims, surprise classes, transformational experiences and so much more.

But a typical day looks like:

    8-9.30am Morning Practice

    9.30-10.30am Breakfast

    10.30-1.30pm - Class with breaks

    3.30 - 6.30pm Class with breaks

Some evening (maybe 2-3 a week) we will have evening immersive sesisons like Restorative Yoga, Nidra, Kirtan, Japa Meditations, Ancesteral Healing etc.

This will be our schedule Mon-Fri. There will be a half day on Saturday. Sunday will be the morning practice and free time after breakfast
