Yes of course. Yoga is for everyone. Particularly those who aren’t flexible. Yoga is unique in that you increase your flexibility while increasing strength in the muscles. Ideal for overall function.

Absolutely. Yoga is all about controlled breathing and movement and so is suitable for everyone of all fitness levels. It will help increase your overall level of health and fitness and each class is tailored to your ability.

If you have never done yoga we recommend you do at least a six beginner classes. These classes will give you a strong foundation in all of the postures, breath control and all the techniques needed to gain the most benefit from the class.

All equipment will be provided. We have high quality and hygienic mats, blocks, straps, bolsters, eye pillows and blankets for your comfort. Just bring a small sweat towel, some water and an open mind!

Clothes that are comfortable to move in and not too restrictive. Bring some layers as you will heat up slowly and then cool down.

Flights, travel insurance, and personal expenses (e.g. massages, shopping) are typically not included.

No, retreats are open to all levels — from complete beginners to seasoned practitioners. However, it should be known that these are not party trips. A commitment to exploring yoga, abiding by the yogic ethos and lifestyle and being mindful of others on the retreat is necessary.

Yes! Many participants come solo. It’s a great way to meet like-minded people in a supportive environment.
Yoga Teacher Training FAQs

Yes, these trainings are 30/100/200-hour RYT programs accredited by Yoga Alliance Professionals.

Please see each individual training. It is highly recommended that you have:
A consistent yoga practice (6 months–1 year minimum recommended)
An open heart and desire to explore these practices. No need to be physically “advanced” or flexible.

That’s perfectly fine. Many students join to deepen their practice without intending to teach. However, keep the options open, perhaps the course will change your mind!

Expect self-study, reading, and practice teaching. There will also be some homework assignments to be considered for Yoga Alliance Professionals Accredited.
