The Accreditation:
This course is accredited with the recognised Yoga Alliance Professionals – a leading organisation for yoga professionals which seeks to raise standards and best practices in the yoga industry. Upon successful completion (including some at home coursework and assessment) it will allow the participant to register 200hrs of Basic Training with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
Please note we also hold our training school to even higher standards than YAP set. We believe this is important for the continuing development and education of Yoga. All our courses exceed the minimum requirements that YAP set and instead ensure that Yogic traditions are honoured, ancient wisdom is acknowledged, modern science is shared and current best practices are observed.
Intended Outcomes:
On completion of this course, you will have gained a deeper understanding of Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra and the gifts it offers to you individually and to your potential students. You will also have the tools, experience and confidence to begin your yoga teaching journey.
You will have an established connection with your teachers and fellow students with lots of opportunity for further development and support after graduation. We will be here to support your entire Yoga Journey, whatever form it takes.
There will be plenty of support after the course finishes to ensure any issues or questions that arise can be answered. There is no time limit for this, once you are our student, we are always here to help!

FAQs
-
A keen interest in Restorative Yoga is a must. This is not dependent or reliant on your ability to perform certain Asana (postures). Your open heart and mind is all that is required. A deep desire to study this ancient practice and commit to the program is needed. If you’re unsure in any was please reach out for an informal chat and we can support your decision.
-
Yes! Upon successful completion of this course, meeting all the course requirements and completing some at home coursework, you will be qualified to teach Restorative Yoga + Yoga Nidra Class.
-
This depends. It can be helpful to register with a body, get support and guidance and ensure you are following the most up to date practices. It can also be useful to get insurance via this accrediting body. However, to register with them upon completion of the course is entirely optional. This will be discussed in further detail during the course.
Please note that this course holds itself to higher standards than the Yoga Alliance Professionals set.

This is a full immersion so intend for your days to be full but enjoyable. The schedule allows for lots of practice of yoga (which in itself aids the process of learning) as well as some free time for swims, hikes, rest, chats and more. The days are full but your food and accommodation are all tended to, allowing you to fully focus on the course.
We have allowed time to flow with the energy of the group and adapt where needed.
-
In designing this course, we also created room for flexibility and responsiveness. This means we can adapt our day to the needs of our students and our small community. We will use the natural resources around us, the weather and the group sentiment to create opportunities for excursions, hikes, sea swims, surprise classes, transformational experiences and so much more.
But a typical day looks like:
8-9.30am Morning Practice
9.30-10.30am Breakfast
10.30-1.30pm - Class with breaks
3.30 - 6.30pm Class with breaks
8-9pm Guided Nidra/Mantra/Restorative
