Have you ever had to turn away students when they are pregnant?

Have you ever felt unsafe or uncertain when a pregnant person comes to class?

Are you fascinated by the physical and spiritual miracle that is birth?

Would you like to help people conceive, carry and birth new life with ease and support?

If you’re intrigued about when new life gains its soul then this is the training for you!

Imagine an immersive and nourishing 100hr Prenatal YTT in rural West Kerry.  Nestled alongside your classmates, Réiltín Retreat Centre will be your home for the 9 days.

Traditional but comfortable group living, authentic and traditional teachings, fantastic fresh food as well as a deep immersion in Yogic Culture.

This is not your average 100Hr Prenatal YTT. Yes you will learn how to safely teach and empower pregnant students. But you will also dive deep into the ancient and wise Yogic Teachings on the origin of the soul. The best part?

We’ll cover it all, from the science of new life to the spirituality of it.

This is a highly immersive training. It includes practical and many experiential elements, as once you’ve experienced Prenatal Yoga deeply, you can then learn to teach it.

There is no requirement to have given birth or even plan to give birth, to be part of this training. All we ask is you have a keen interest.

This is an Immersion. A journey of discovery. We will explore, we will get into the nitty gritty, we will dance and laugh, we will celebrate, we will cry, we will hold each other, and we will re-learn.

The Setting

Reiltin Yoga Centre is set amongst the rolling hills, just outside the main Dingle town. Over the course of 9 days, it will play a unique role in allowing you to immerse yourself fully in the teachings, grow, develop and ultimately, transform. We will deep dive into the ancient and wise Yogic Teachings, but we will also connect to the land, go on hikes, enjoy sea swims, learn about the local history, and truly connect to what it means to be alive.

The centre is lovingly owned and created by Derbhla. It’s her family home, now home to the students who come here to immerse in Yoga. It is simple, cosy and full of love. The home is surrounds by green fields, mountains and spectacular sea views from the fully equipped Yoga shala.

The Accomodation

Rooting yourself at the Reiltin Yoga Centre for the duration of this course is a key element in engaging in this immersive experience. Your accommodation is included in the course fee from the 9th – 17th April.

Over the course of this time, your fellow yogis will become your community and your future pillars of support when you embark on your yoga teaching journey. We will be living like a family, which comes with massive benefits but also some challenges. There are lots of things in place to ensure everyone gets quiet time, their own space and things run as smoothly as possible.

All rooms are shared, most have bunkbeds, and all have shared bathrooms. It’s back to basics with the accommodation but this is something most students say they love about the space. The centre is rustic, quirky and homely with a lot of heart and peaceful surroundings. It may not be dripping in luxury but it is clean, comfortable and steeped in love.

Your Host

Derbhla (she/her) is a native of Dingle and is the part of 5 Generations to live in this home. 8 years ago she trusted her gut and decided to turn the family home into a home for all. A space for Yoga, connection, love, great food, lots of fun and deep care.

As a dedicated and highly qualified Yoga Teacher herself she has a deep understanding of the process we will bring you on.

Food is her passion (and she would say her hyper-fixation!) and guests will be delighted with her culinary creations, dishes oozing with love and her determination that no one will ever go hungry!

If the kitchen is the hearth of the home, then Derbhla is the heart of the kitchen.

We are so grateful that she took the leap to turn this space into Réiltín Retreat Centre so we can let the space support us as we go on this journey.

Having your meals and accommodation tended to by our team means you can fully immerse yourself in the program. Inspired by the Wild Atlantic Way, the meals provided throughout this course will be Sattvic which means (where possible) it will be local, in season, fresh, and cooked onsite with absolute love by loving people.

This ensures the food is packed with Prana – life giving energy, that the environment is protected and that you are fuelling your body in balance with your surroundings.

Meals will be created lovingly by Derbhla and our team and each day meals will be carefully prepared to suit the environment, the weather and nourish your soul.

We promise you, you won’t go hungry! Derbhla has decades of experience hosting and cooking for groups, as well as being a dedicated Yoga Teacher herself. She has completed many of these programs herself and so she knows what it is like to be the student. This inspires the menu and allows her to be in tune with your needs and the needs of the group.

  • As a midwife, I've always dreamed of doing these training, and I think I've definitely found a golden nugget! I've learned a lot from Jeanie, who is an extraordinary teacher and a very empathetic, attentive listener and warm person.  More than a Yoga teacher training, these days spent with the whole group were for me a fully human experience that I can't recommend enough to everyone. Intense introspection, listening to your body and mind, nourishing moments, emotions, gorgeous food... During the course  you gradually immerse yourself in the philosophy of life that is Yoga, carried along by Jeanie. I will be grateful for the rest of my life with a heart and a mind full of wonderful memories!

  • "I was a bit apprehensive about completing Prenatal Teacher Training as I have never been pregnant, but it is a subject I am really interested in and I wanted to be able to share Yoga with pregnant people in my community safely. Jyanti instantly put me at ease, and I knew I had chosen the right training. I didn’t realise what a beautiful, empowering practice I was immersing myself in. Every subject was covered – asana, breathwork techniques, yogic wisdom, the human body, and more. Jyanti’s level of knowledge is incomparable, and she shares it with passion. No question was left unanswered. I felt so confident and excited to share prenatal classes after this training and started teaching a few weeks later."
