One of Ireland’s leading Yoga Teacher trainings is now available, spread out over 8 weekends, over 8 months. This allows those who learn and digest at their own pace to integrate the teachings and experiences on a week by week basis.

Set in a dedicated Yoga Loft space, attendees can immerse themselves in the ancient Yogic teachings and learn to grow and flourish as teachers. In this welcoming space, with Jeanie Jyanti’s unique approach to Yoga and teaching, time and integration is the focus.

This is the same course content as the 200hr Immersion Residential, just spread out over time.

  • How to describe magic? That is the word that comes to mind when i think of my yoga teacher training with Jeanie. The experience was incredible from start to finish and most importantly I feel ready to teach. Jeanie is a fountain of wisdom, support and encouragement. Her teachings are practical and enjoyable whilst honoring the lineage and wisdom of yoga. If you get a chance to learn from her - take it! You will not regret it.

    Niamh - Graduate

  • I have completed my 200 hrs yoga teacher training with Jeanie, and it has been such a delight. She is the kindest and most professional instructor. Her deep knowledge and ability to transfer it are exceptional. Jeanie expresses herself and make yoga very accessible but specially, she has an ability to encourage students to be themselves and practice yoga their own way. This has been the biggest learning for me. I would recommend anyone that wants to embody yoga, finding what it means and feels for them, to train with Jeanie.

    Blanca - student

  • “Jyanti! I can’t believe that I used to think what a good yoga class is like before I met you! You fascinate me, inspire me, ground me, support me and amaze me. Thanks for awakening my passion for yoga and teaching. Thanks for listening, laughing and dancing. So much love for you!”

    Alexandra - Graduate

  • “Thank you Jyanti, for a wonderful training, it was so rich it opened a door for me. You bring a very deep and unique perspective to yoga and I’m grateful.”

FAQs

  • A keen interest in Yoga is a must. This is not dependent or reliant on your ability to perform certain Asana (postures). Your open heart and mind is all that is required. A deep desire to study this ancient practice and commit to the program is needed. Know that this won’t always be easy, but it will be worth it. If you’re unsure in any was please reach out for an informal chat and we can support your decision.

  • The primary style we will be learning is Hatha - which is the basis of all Yoga that we practice today. It is a strong but accessible practice blending postures, pranayama, mantra, mudra and meditation into one practice. It’s a fantastic basis, from which to then specialise if you wish.

We will also explore, in some detail. Restorative, Yin, Ashtanga and Nidra. But you will only be qualified to teach General Yoga classes, unless you do further training.

  • Yes! Upon successful completion of this course, meeting all the course requirements, you will be qualified to teach a General Yoga Class.

  • This depends. It can be helpful to register with a body, get support and guidance and ensure you are following the most up to date practices. It can also be useful to get insurance via this accrediting body. However, to register with them upon completion of the course is entirely optional. This will be discussed in further detail during the course.

Please note that this course holds itself to higher standards than the Yoga Alliance Professionals set.

  • The weekends are intense, so intend for your days to be full but enjoyable. The schedule allows for lots of practice of yoga (which in itself aids the process of learning) as well as free time for food, walks, space rest, chats and more.

We have allowed time to flow with the energy of the group and adapt where needed.

  • In designing this course, we also created room for flexibility and responsiveness. This means we can adapt our day to the needs of our students and our small community. We will use the group energy and ability to dictate the flow of classes where possible.

But a typical day looks like:

    8-9.30am Morning Practice

    9.30-10.30am Breakfast

    10.30-1.30pm - Class with breaks

    2.30 - 7pm Class with breaks

The evenings will always end with a grounding practice like Nidra, Restorative, Yin, Mantra etc
