Did you already learn Pranayama techniques but struggle to incorporate them into your classes?
Do you feel you want to learn more about these powerful and transformational practices and the benefits they can have for yourself and your students?
Have you learned lots about the physical body (physical anatomy) but not much about the subtle body (yogic anatomy)?
Would you like to learn more about Pranas, Koshas, Mantras, Nadhis, Bandas and Mudras?
Do you want to be able to allow your students truly experience Yoga in all it’s forms?
Join Jeanie Jyanti, senior yoga teacher and teacher trainer for this weekend long, residential immersion. Spend a weekend in the rolling hills of West Dingle in a cosy retreat centre with a hearty kitchen bursting with nourishment. The Accreditation:
This course is accreditated with Yoga Alliance Professionals and upon successful completion (including some at home coursework and assessment) will allow the participant to register 30hrs of CPD with Yoga Alliance Professionals.
Please note we also hold our training school to even higher standards than YAP set. We believe this is important for the continuining development and education of Yoga. All our courses exceed the minimum requirements that YAP set and instead ensure that Yogic traditions are honoured, ancient wisdom is acknowledged, modern science is shared and current best practices are observed.
Dingle Setting
Reiltin Retreat Centre is set apart form the main Dingle town, and over the course of the weekend, it will play a unique role in allowing you to immerse yourself fully in your teachings, grow, develop and ultimately, transform. This wonderful Centre in the heart of the Wild West Coast will allow us to connect with ourselves, each other and our purpose.
-
Kindred Studios, Sligo is a space created with community at it’s heart. Located overlooking Strandhill and the Atlantic Ocean, the studio is bathed in natural light with panaromic views and welcoming staff. The dream location to explore these topics over the course of the weekend.
The Accomodation
A holistic retreat and wellness centre, The Reiltin Retreat Centre in Dingle has a fully equipped yoga room onsite, overlooking the majestic hills outside Dingle town. Rooting yourself at the Reiltin Yoga Centre for the duration of this course is a key element in engaging in this immersive experience.
All rooms are shared with shared bathrooms and we aim to live as a large family for the training. The centre is rustic and homely with a lot of heart and peaceful surroundings.
The Food
Inspired by the Wild Atlantic Way, the meals provided throughout this course will be Sattvic which means (where possible) it will be local, organic, in season, fresh, and cooked onsite with absolute love by loving people. This ensures the food is packed with Prana – life giving energy, that the environment is protected and that you are fuelling your body in balance with your surroundings. Meals will be created lovingly by Derbhla and our team and each day meals will be carefully prepared to suit the environment, the weather and your soul. Our goal throughout this course is to not only nourish your mind, body and soul but ensure you learn how you can bring these practices home with you and share them with your future students and community!
Your Guides:
Jeanie is passionate about taking Yoga off the mat and helping others discover the many aspects of Yoga and how they can be integrated into everyday life. She believes deep rest is a radical act in this fast paced world and she adores helping others to experience the true act of surrender. She is known for creating spaces where people feel nurtured and held, however that looks for them.
Jyanti began teaching Restorative practices 8 years ago and has been sharing her experience and wisdom with Teacher Trainees for the last 5 years. She has completed over 500 hours of YTTs with Akhanda Yoga Institute and has been a teacher and assistant on many more. Her other interests and expertise include Accessibility in Yoga, Mantra and Chanting, and Pre- and Post- natal Yoga.
